- One of the most important methods in mineral processing
is froth flotation. Describe the principles of froth flotation and give the conditions that need to be fulfilled for a success separation of ore particles from gangue material by froth flotation.
- Describe the basic flow sheet of a solvent extraction
circuit.
- Describe the different zones in a column if a resin
in A+form is eluted by a solution of BY, taking into account that the resin have a preference for B+ over A+. How will the concentration of B+ change in the effluent as a function of effluent volume?
- Why is the presence of iron in zinc ores an issue in
the extractive zinc metallurgy? How can iron be removed from zinc-containing leachates?
